Dr. Hadeil spent 30 years in Chicago Public Schools before building a global initiative to support Palestinian medical students displaced. Dr. Hadil was preparing for her end-of-term exams when October 7th happened - and went on to help coordinate support for over 100 fellow students, all while her parents and two brothers remained in Gaza.

Together, they share how Education Rising International was born from a virtual meeting, what it means to build a student-led organization, and what "rising" looks like for a generation determined not to lose its future.
